How the hell does one trivialize a humorist? Commented By: Guest (Guest) (269 - days ago), Page: Ogden Nash
this poem is about how humanity has become more technologically advanced, each time we have war in the poem it is more powerful and how we don't use technology to aid humanity, we use it to kill each other instead.People are not respecting human life as much as we should and if we continue to develop new weapons which are more destructive, eventually it will lead to the destruction humankind. He has been trivialized as a humorist. (Leave aside the bigger question 'why trivialize a humorist')
Nash's poems offer more than humour. Re-reading poems like the Ant and The Purist one sees that even beyond the humour they show so much more. Commented By: Prabhu Ram (516 - days ago), Page: Ogden Nash
